What is DEGEN?
A pretty cool Discord bot
DEGEN
DEGEN is a POAP distribution bot that lives on Discord. It began out of a need from BanklessDAO where hundreds of users attended voice calls and stages trying to learn all things web3.
It started as a simple script on BanklessDAO helping hundreds of participants get their POAPs. This bot quickly grew and now distributes thousands of POAPs across over a hundred communities.
We continue to enhance and build out new features to DEGEN with plans to bring DEGEN across platforms outside of Discord.
We hope this document highlight all of those features and some pretty neat alpha!

Many of DEGEN's operations relies heavily on the chat platform which is Discord. It is a place where many people come together to chat, play games, and hangout. Discord provides many APIs and capabilities that DEGN depends on. Sometimes, all of the bots on discord stop working.
